... yup ... there was a time when my info was in the "BMWMOA Anonymous Book"
... 

This was something that we talked about many years ago ... when the
"audifans" was first created.  Bob D'Amato was the one who put it together
if memory serves ... I don't think it ever really caught on.  

I think that one needs to have "critical mass" for something like this to
really work ... while this is clearly the case for BMW motorcycle owners I
don't think that we really have it here.  My recommendation is that if there
is anyone on the list who expects to be traveling within several hours
journey of San Jose don't hesitate to drop me a line beforehand and I'll
give you contact information and will do everything I can to try to help
should something develop ...
