Great idea!  A long time ago when I was riding, the BMW Motorcycle Owners'
Club had such a service.  Names and telephone numbers were published in the
monthly magazine.  Especially useful was the notation whether or not any one
had a pickup truck.

The V8 being such a special car needs to have a "community" of people who
will at least help a traveler out if necessary.

Count me in!
