Just check out a nearby exhaust place and see how much it would cost to
get just rear muffler put in and all the piping from the cat flange
back. I got my resonator cut out and replaces with two stainless steel
straight pipes for 110 bucks. Shouldn't be more than 500 for a couple
mandrel bends and the muffler to be places where the resonator currently
resides. Putting the Muffler their would straighten the pipes and open
the flow of the exhaust and free up more than a couple HP (Keith?)

I need a new exhaust from the CAT's back on my 90 V8. It's pretty
rotted
from the joint between the converters to the rear of the car. Most
places
seem to be averaging around $700-$800 for it. Anywhere out there have
them
a little cheaper or would I be better off to have my friend make them
for me
at his exhaust shop?
Thanks
Kyle
