I think this is true.  I, too, have a Canadian built V8 and have never had a 
problem
with my light switch - it doesn't even get warm.

So if you are able to use 100/135w bulbs with the CL harness, it would mean
these Canadian cars should be able to run such wattage with any modifications
or problems.  Would you agree?
