... did you remove the old part from the drive flange? I think the reason
the part is so hard to come by is that it is never replaced. I have always
replaced them myself, but I don't think that I'd let not having one stop me
from putting the car back together ... perhaps you can find some good
pliable gasket material and run a bead round the mounting surface of the
inner CVJ. The OEM gasket is shaped to keep grease out of the holes for the
mounting bolts.
