[V8] Temp sensor beeps at startup

The temp has dropped recently here in northern virginia and the past few
mornings, when I start my 1990 V8Q, I get the 3 beeps and the picture of the
thermometer comes up on the dash. It stays on for about 15 seconds and I
don't hear from it again...until the next morning. Anyone have this problem
before? I haven't noticed any difference in performance. Could it just be a
faulty sensor or and IC gremlin?
