[V8] Q Re Climate Control Readout

I have a 1990 canadian model too. The daytime running lights work the
same way you describe.

-I think (not 100% sure) that the daytime running lights are set to put
out somewhere around 60%-75% of the low beam brightness. When you turn
the headlight switch to on, they then put out 100% of the light. (My GM
car does this the same way) I don't think any tail lights go on unless
you put the headlight switch on.

-Rookie story: The first day I got the car, when it turned to nighttime
I couldn't figure out why the street looked sooo dark even though the
headlights were 'on', after I got off a city street and noticed I
couldn't read the dash, I finally realized I didn't push the 'on' switch
hard enough. :-(
