Follow up:
Got a letter (nice watermarked paper) from the US Postal Service
International Claims Office Headquarters today. Don't believe the
sellers BS about "insured" packages from Germany.
"This is in response to (claim number, article yada yada.)"
"Insured mail from Germany is considered ordinary once it is in our
Administration. No indemnity is payable on the damage of ordinary mail."
7 months to get this response. They must have mailed my claim form to
headquarters.
Lars hasn't heard the last of this.
