... as a reminder, if you have questions about the function of the list I'd
appreciate it if you could bring them up with the list admin rather than
sending out test posts.  

I'm not aware of any "overly aggressive spam or virus protection" being
applied to the list posts.  It is all pretty simple, if you aren't subbed to
the list, your post gets held for me to moderate (I just allowed a few such
valid list posts through, so you'll see some duplicated messages).  If
messages are getting kicked back please feel free to send me a copy and I'll
look to see if I can make sense of the headers ...
