I did the same thing :)  the cat sensor died when I did a banzai with the
V8 trying to go thru a 4' high snow bank....  I high centered with all
4 wheels just off the ground...  I tried for 5 minutes to get out and I think
I fried the sensor cranking up the motor without any air flowing to cool 
the cats..  oops...

Eventually Chris Semple tossed me one when I was up visiting one day :)
