[V8] clutch hydraulics

Have recently replaced both clutch master and slave on the Whee8. Was having the pedal only return part way up during really cold weather. Decided to strike before complete failure. Tossed a coin and replaced master first. Worked excellent for about 5-8 miles, then the slave, which was now being asked to travel its entire course, gave up the ghost and began leaking past the seals and down onto the road.
Suffice to say the slave cylinder is less fun to replace than the master. Removed driver's side distributor and turned steering all the way to the right for access. Hydraulic line to slave is hard line. Nut seized to line. No room to swing wrench. Crows foot wrench not a great option. There's a rubber line after the hard line so I could get the assembly out to a point where I could work on it more effectively.
Shifting is much smoother now so the system was not up to 100% for a while.
