I agree. I don't think that this is a duplication of other efforts of past
fame, but this could be not only a shameless self glorification to the
world of our cars, but in the advent of digital cameras and tons of repair
info that cannot be clearly explained with words only, we could have a
photo how-to section, as someone else pointed out, a detailed section on
FAQ which could assist in speedy locating of information that is pertinent
to a person's interest.

This is no way would take away from our current forum, instead it would
encourage new members/visitors that have much to offer to join our current
audifans.com list.

How many times has someone posted a link to additional info and sooner or
later someone comes along and asks about that exact bit of info and we dig
it out, and repost it? I'm sure they would have looked it up in a FAQ
section on their own, shared their problem/solution which comes out to a
functional "help desk" type environment.

This is a colaborative effort. Content is out there, let's get the worth
while info into a central place and make it available.

Hell, if I could find where the reference sensor and the speed sensor are
located, I'll solve my problem. A photo would help. A photo of what a good
cable end (sensor side) looks like would be great as well.

BTW, does the cable for either of these two sensors have a silver wire
braid as the ground or other purpose?
Found one of (don't know which) them with the two terminals exposed (engine
side) and the silver braid not connected to anything. This was on the
drivers side of the engine.

Let's do this.
