Hamm. I think you are the first to do that. The stumble is probably caused by the fuel droplets condensating on the smooth intake manifold walls. When you hit the gas the increase in airflow sucks this condensation into the engine causing a temporary over rich situation. This is why one is never supposed to smooth polish an intake manifold for a carbureted engine. There are roughly 120 other reasons why slapping a carburetor onto this engine is not the best idea…but hey, if it works…
