[V8] intake sealing

OK - it is not April 1st so that is out...
I can't think of another reason this would be a big joke setup so lets help this
guy out.

<KIDDING>
Since you appear to have destroyed a magnificently built intake manifold, and
you seem to not care about the rest of the car, I propose that you simply yank
out the whole drive train - including the rear axle. Toss the parts into a pile
in the front yard.
(don't bother with tools and whatnot - just cut it all out with a torch)
Go back to the junk yard and buy the biggest V8 you can find with automatic
transmission. Also get a solid rear axle with nice strong leaf springs. Make
sure the truck you get the parts from is pre 1970 so you do not have any of that
annoying 'lectronic crap to deal with.
Place all these new parts in another pile in the front yard.
Remove the hood and maybe a few other body panels from the V8 and again place
them in a pile in the front yard.
Flip the car body upside down to facilitate installing the "new" drive train.

Now just go back in the trailer and continue drinking beer. You will never
finish the project anyway so don't waste any more money on welding rod. That
money will be needed for alimony and beer anyway.
</KIDDING>

Really - just part out whats left. For example, the little square box with 6
wires coming out of it mounted on top of the intake manifold would have been
worth somewhere in the $50 to $150 range provided it was not sawed in half.
There are lots of other parts people would be interested in too - as long as
they are taken off intact.

AND - please tell us all that you are not a military mechanic.
