Having a blower unit to physically hold up to the V8's IM would make it
clear whether one could use the bottom half of an OE manifold or would need
to have 8 individual runners built.  Race-oriented machine/fabrication shops
would be my first place to look, once a sketch is created.  There's a couple
here in DE.  Thinking back, I was curious as to what would happen to the
MAF...
