[V8] Hard start when wet

I apologize for not having done my homework pulling codes before asking
this question.
My 1990 beast has recently demonstrated two interesting qualities when
starting:
1. After sitting through a wet weekend, the car does not start on all
cylinders. Normally this car fires up best when cold, but the wet
aspect seems to be twist.
2. When hot, the car will start, but it doesn't seem to fire as happily
as when it is cold and dry.
I am beginning to think that the car is running richer than normal as I
am noticing more unburned fuel in the exhaust than I have in the past.
Or perhaps a cylinder or two are missing more than I am sensing?
Should I be thinking wires?
Any BTDTs appreciated as I am starting(no pun intended) would be
appreciated.
Charlie
