[V8] Off topic - A4 Performance products

I was looking throughout the archives for A4 Performance Upgrades, but there are few detailed post on this topic.
 
I want to improve the performance of my wifes '02 1.8T A4Q Manual.  She cannot live with the turbo-lag, which is severe up to 2500 rpms.  I need a chip and corresponding turbo upgrades to even out the powerband. I need coil-overs too.
 
Please give me recommendations on companies to look into for this fitment. Or who to contact for a good knowledgebase on the A4 upgrades.
