[V8] Car Posessed

You can buy a replacement voltage regulator from most auto parts houses.
Mine had an off brand $35, and the Bosh $65.  Not too bad to replace.  Had
this happen about 6 months ago.

Yup, When those brushes go bad in your alternator they can get hung up and
make intermittant or no contact. When your battery gets low enough the car
will indeed act posessed.Easy fix once you get the alternator to a shop.
