I just had mine windshield on the a4 replaced last week with an OEM
windshield by the dealer recommended installer. He is also recommended
by the audi tech that dad and I have known for over 5 years. Jorge
swears by this guy. He replaced it right at the dealer, went and picked
it up, and Jorge looked it over thought it looked fine and I went
home...little did I know but it is in wrong.
I went to see my friend Christian, and had him take a look before I
washed my car today and he said that it is in wrong. It isn't even in
the seal on the left and right sides and is a quarter inch away from the
roof line of the car!!!
Calling them right now to have it redone!

If your not using the factory glass antenna(they dont work well with
aftermarket stereos.....evan blaupunkts)Order one for a 5000(about $200)
you will need to clear some of the black paint at the bottom to expose
the vin (vin# window is located in a differant spot than the v8q,
otherwise direct swap and hell of alot cheaper.

Only beef was they left out a wiper arm grommet. They charged a bit
more than $600. It had the antenna in it, though my car also has the
power antenna in the rear fender. Not sure if both are hooked up.
