I looked at a 1990 90cs 20v sedan not to long ago and came to the conclusion that they were too expensive to maintain to be feasible. Yea I know, kinda stupid coming from a V8 owner( my wife pointed that out to me). But you have to realize that we are talking about two distinctly different types of owners here. Most ( if not all ) V8 owners are older, more responsible and have more financial resources to put in to their cars. 80, 90 and Coup owners, in my opinion only, are much younger and less inclined to put out the money to maintain these cars. Not to mention the fact that there are so many parts that are exclusive to the coupe and the 20V that it's a nightmare to find then sometimes. I subscribed to the 20V list for a while and heard too many horror stories to take the plunge. The 22yo that I spoke to about the 20V sedan didn't know that you had to change the T/B or that these engines are an interference type like ours and will eat itself into tiny little, very expensive pieces. I shutter to think what a 20V long block costs today.
Just my two cents, take it for what you will.
