It is this that keeps chip tuners scrambling their chips.  What did you

If this V8 chip is a 27C256 or lower (i.e. 27C128 or 27C64 or similar),

have an EPROM reader/writer, and I can read and copy it . . . if anyone
is 
interested we probably ought to have the code on hand - for reference 
purposes only, you understand . . .

I can do the DIP chips up to 28 pins. Also have a chip tester/checker
with 
a "what are you?" function - useful little item to test and identify
"house 
numbered" chips in Bosch ECUs.

Haven't used them in a while, they have DOS based software, and they
work 
very nicely.
