[V8] Reg. Fees

$500 for a registration?   What in tarnation is going on over there??   :-]

Check out Delaware:
Price of car:  Tax = 2% of book value (new or used)
Procedure:  Drive to DMV over lunch, pull up to bay, hit the brakes on cue, show reg. and ins. cards.   Pull forward to second bay.  Work all lights, have gas cap tested, check tint darkness, hook up sniffer.   Pull forward to drive up window.  Pay $45 for any car under 5k lbs.  (or $90 for two years,  4 years if new car) Get one single license plate sticker that covers both registration and inspection.   Return to work 10 mins. early.

Reason enough to stay in DE!
