An excellent system indeed, with only one hitch, one must actively use it, i.e. put on the damn seatbelt.
Obviously beyond the scope of attention of the LCD litigidrones in the US, present company excluded of course.

... and I, for one, would tend to agree with them! The V8 was designed with
the Procon-Ten system which is a passive means of occupant protection,
providing automatic seatbelt tensioning and steering wheel retraction in the
event of a serious frontal impact. I'll bet that noone has been maimed or
killed by Procon-Ten!
Hmmm, I wonder if the Aussie V8s came with color coordinated airbag-free
steering wheels ... it'd be great to get a grey one for #344 ...
