Or, do what steve is doing, but get a belt from say a 5.8 liter ford, or
something with a really long belt. then, wrap it every which way around the
other pulleys. by using other pulleys, it acts as leverage to hold the
pulley you want to unloosen still. it has worked for me in dozens of
situations.
