[V8] Bose Blows !!!

I've never been much of a Bose fan. The stuff is overpriced, overhyped, and aimed at the sort of folks that would look at Consumers Reports before they buy a Hi-Fi. The units in our V8's aren't horribly offensive. I can't be any more charitable than that. But the fact that they blow up so regularly in our cars is just too much to take. It's just a bunch of passive electrical components.My demands on them aren't much, the occasional overplayed song. A quick listen on talk radio to hear "right wing nuts" break everything down into simple black and white while ignoring the gazzilion shades of gray in the real world. With the enormous failure rate of these things it's kind of amazing that Bose is still in business. By the way did I mention that my Bose stopped working yesterday? Sorry for the rant, I'm generally not prone to them but thanks for listening. Bill
