[V8] fuel pump question

Am going to order a new fuel pump for the V8 as well as a new fuel filter.  
The pump is terribly noisy and is getting to where I can hear it while 
driving down the road.  While looking for a new one, I see they are calling 
it an inline fuel pump instead of in tank.  I see an in tank one listed as 
well, and am getting confused.  Does it have two pumps or just one?  I also 
see that the chassis number is required when ordering one.  Mine being 
000544, keeps saying an inline pump.

Can someone please clarify?
