[V8] need legal advise

Ed,

Spoken with a voice of reason and experience. When all is said and done,
you will spend hours dealing with a small claims court action and in many
jurisdictions, Ed is right, there is a right of appeal for the defendant to
the next court up, where the defendant can be represented by counsel. If
time is money, a small claims court action for this type of money is like
throwing good money after bad.

In our area, there are local TV stations that will harass business people
like this for their business tactics. If I were you, I would pursue that
route. You may not get your money back, but you will bring more negative
publicity to this company than they bargained for with that smart a$$
comment to you.

Good luck.

Bill Gutierrez
