[V8] loss of power

The V8 seems to lose a little of it's oomph when it gets to operating 
temperature. It also makes somewhat of a strange sound when you get down on 
it when it is warm.  I am suspect of the CAT's getting too much backpressure 
when they get hot.  Any suggestions?

Has anyone had any experience with doing a little CAT "adjustment" with the 
V8 or does it screw with the oxygen sensor getting correct data?
