Hey Tony,
Maybe I missed something you've already covered, and maybe I'm not a V8
expert either but, the Fuel Pressure Regulator is good right? I know
it's a common problem that would cause the flooding. Mine recently died
suddenly.
You also mentioned "2. 2113 (hall sender in distributor) - mis-located
sensor and distributor."
Once again I'm no expert but if the computer thinks the Hall Sensor is
bad and you've replaced it with a known good unit, I would start to
suspect the wiring that connects the unit to the ECU. I wouldn't begin
to know where to start testing the wires back to the ECU but I had a
very simiilar problem on a Honda once and it turned out to be a
defective 4 wire plug that connected the distributor to the engine
harness. It was oil and heat soaked and only two of the four wires was
connecting. I even tried installing a new $425.00 distributor which did
the exact same thing. I suppose it's possible that in moving all the
wires around you discovered a weakness in one which is causing it to
loose connection to the ECU. Of course keep in mind this may be a
completely uneducated guess. Good luck and I hope this helps.
Later.

This may also trigger the check engine light. I wouldn't know, mine is on all the time (a project for another day)
