Ok, update. The plug wires are on correctly. Next is to check the 
distributor allignment tomorrow. It's darkie out there.

Also, I tried the hall sender on the "good" V8 last night. The car started 
right up, so I can second that. Keith said so also, so I suspected it to be 
true.
