Allan,
Check the leads for the air temp sensor and make sure they are properly
connected -- you will have to pull the boot off to see (it's to the left of
the idle stabilizer valve when looking from the front bumper). Also, make
sure the connections are good to the oxs sensor. I recently had an..ahem..
exhaust restriction which resulted in so overly rich a mixture it made the
oxy sensor ineffective and ultimately destroyed it. If your exhaust is
sooty, imagine what the oxygen sensor must look like. Also check all of
your vacumm hoses for secure fit.
