There are no clutches. It's a completely mechanical system using worm gears
if I recall correctly. Should be OK.

Subject: [V8] Torsen diffs

Does anyone know if torsen diffs wear out? The reason I ask is I'm starting
the 20020VA/V8 project for the wife (replace the smoking V8), and I want to
put the torsen out of a V8 into the back. That way it's automatic, and she
doesn't have to worry about the button. However, Traction-loc diffs in
Mustangs wear out, and I wanted to know if torsen's worked the same way. If
so, how hard is it to rebuild/replace clutches in one?

Thanks in advance,
Tony Hoffman
