[V8] Airbag lights and airheads revisited

Today was going to be the day that the airbag light was taken care of, by the dealer,
Autohaus of Lancaster, PA., after a month of waiting for an appointment.
The Tech just called to tell me that the airbag light being constantly on was just an 
indicator that the instrument cluster lights were out......Huh?
This car has been sold to another lister who is patiently waiting for it .
I have not driven it in a month so I did not notice that the instrument lights were out
Next the dealer tech told me that he would have to pull the steering wheel to get at the light bulbs.
That is when the alarm went off.I stopped all further work and called my local tech (where the 
problem started as he repaired a stuck trip odo.
Oh well
