... I don't have BTDT on the "comfort" (AKA Barcolounger) seats, but I
know that on the sport seats (i.e. the one with 3 separate sections in
the seat bottom ... middle w/2 bolsters) the foam pieces are still
available from Audi, and the price is not terrible. On those seats, IME
the problem is that the metal frame breaks through the reinforcement in
the pad ... I wrap closed cell foam around the metal to try to spread
the load over more of the reinforcement ... so far, so good ...
