[V8] 91 v8 cutting out @ 1800

You might try pulling the codes yourself -- with behavior like that I'd be surprised it's not throwing any.

A misaligned timing belt, bad hall sensor or distributor (neither very temp-related), or the sensor on the back of the head, which sends temp info to the ECU controlling fuel mixture when cold.
