Can't seem to get any codes - they pulled them and they were 4444 (no
faults) or were unsuccessful at pulling *anything*?

The only other thing that I can think of Greg, is swapped plug wires...
When I replaced my driver's side distributor cap / rotor, I was 90% sure
I put the plug wires back on correct... As it turns out I had 2 of the
wires swapped; amazingly the car ran pretty well considering, but had
the issues you describe.

Good luck, and keep us posted!

Hi All,

My v8 is still having problems - the dealer has not even solved it in
the last 3 months.

It started after the replacementof the engine speed and positions
sensors (would not even start). Then on the 20 mile trip home the car
started getting slugish and cuttting out. 1800 rmp was about max (try
staying at 65 with that). The place that replaced the sensors indicated
a lot of emi and the caps, wires, and rotors should be replaced (done )
still the same problem. It seems to do it when it warms up more so. It's

almost like it lost fuel. the dealers checked the pump and did a volume
check. the fuel filter has been replaced. the exhaust has been dropped
and checked for blockage. The injectors have been cleaned. the deals
can't seem to get any codes from the computer also.

Any ideas? I want my car back with out the price of buying another. (my
wife would kill me - I still have a 5ktq to sell).

Thanks for any help/ideas.
Greg
