Probably no connection Brad. Stalling is usually caused by a failing "Idle Air
Motor" or IAC for short. Sometimes they can be cleaned up, sometimes you have to
replace them.
Most people who have had the cat temp sensor fail just ignore it. Maybe remove
the controle module to turn off the light. It would be nice to have in the event
you had a condition that was overheating the cats, but you would likely know
that anyway by the way the car was running like crap and smelling like the cats
were over heating.
