Yep, just connected the wires together on mine, and the light went away.
They come through the floor on the passenger side under the carpet.
It has had no affect on running. In fact, it did the intermittent "disco"
for quite a while, and that changed nothing in the way it ran either.
Too bad I'm not a disco fan :(
