I would only add to watch out for static electricity. Wear clothes that don't
generate sparks, ground the car to earth, ground yourself to the car, use a low
voltage/explosion proof work light with a protected bulb, etc.
I had my pump out a couple of years ago to clean the screen - and I really did
not like having my arm contorted into the tank full of fumes.
The screen cleaning did seem to quiet down the pump though.
