[V8] Fwd: mystery wire

While underneath the car, I found a wire that is obviously a sensor of some sort that is nearly broken in half.  The wires are still connected, though I don't know for how long.  I need some help identifying it, however.  It is located just above the second exhaust port on the driver's side, and it snakes along the front of the engine and connects to another wire on the driver's side fuel rail.  Can anyone tell me what it is and where to find another one?
