[V8] Real world V8 mpg

... even my '78 Audi Fox got better fuel economy at higher speeds.  When
the NMSL came around to reduce the speed limit from 65-70MPH to 55MPH I
submitted a complaint to the DOT indicating that this law actually
increased the amount of fuel I was using.  Of course, when I drove on
the freeway I always let the fuel economy argument influence my choice
of vehicle speed ... ;-)
