[V8] Drippy oil pressure lines

Your technique is exactly the same as mine - clean up the area in question and
then observe. I kinda like soaking with the foamy engine cleaner, then hose off
the whole area at the car wash.
I did just that when the last hose went - and things have been pretty clean and
dry since. I can see that oil is dripping out the insulation cover of the bomb
hose - just like the PS hose did. I am pretty certain I need this hose rebuilt,
but I will go through the clean up it anyway just because I like a nice shiney
motor. I did see that the return line from the bomb has a loose hose clamp but
even if it is leaking, there is the afore mentioned drip.
And on those OEM hose clamps -
they can be a real PITA to get on right. I really believe they are a better
clamp than a generic hose clamp because they don't damage the hose at all, but
the screw part gets bound up with age. Put a little WD-40 or something on the
screw before you install and you have a much better chance of getting it
properly tightened.
