Nein.
"Steuergerat" translates more or less like this: "steuer" means "steering",
but not the car, it means more like "controller" or "director", and "gerat"
means "device" or "apparatus".
Steuergerat therefore means "controller box" or similar - now all we have
to do is figure out what this device controls!
If the CD changer is in the trunk, you might look for an inline fuse back
there someplace, or even in the changer itself.
