yes the block has to be retreated but this is not a new proccess it is
the same for almost all of the german aluminum blocks this is the same
proccess that has to be dun to the larger v8 out of a porche 928 so it
is not forgien to me.  as for the sleeving it is a a consideration but
from my experince with high preformance motors sleeving a motor is a
risky endever if the sleeve comes lose lik they some times due with high
heat and stress applications like a race motor they destroy the whole block
