[V8] Gas hog V8s

I have been getting great mileage, thats one thing I love
about my car. I always set my trip odometer and expect to get
350 miles before looking for a pump. 3.6L, K&N filter cleaned
regularly, new fuel regulator, stock plugs, new wires,
205-65-15 tires pumped up to 36psi, Universal Bosch O2 spliced
in. 91 octane no alchohol, 22mpg is a real average and thats
driving 85 mph on the highway.

Is this unusual, would another V8 not expect such decent milage?

Thanks, Jason
