Hmm,

Post from home didn't go through, so I'll post from work. Anyhow, in preparation for mom's Xmas present tomorrow: 'new' 90 V8, I've been doing some repairs and maintenance and when I went to push on the breather hose from the engine to the intake manifold (the thin one that loops around the intake manifold opening where it meets the air cleaner box and functions at idle), it broke at both nipples -- can you say hard and brittle ;-/ Anyhow, after cleaning the nipples of all debris, but before attaching a replacement hose, I decided to clean the crud off the one at the intake manifold and noticed it is obstructed ~ 1 cm in. Before I start drillin' I thought I'd ask if there is some sort of check valve or similar or that there is indeed some obstruction that should not be present.

TIA

Ingo
