[V8] Low RPM Stalling/Fowling Plugs

Check all the breather hoses on the manifold, if not already replaced,
they become brittle and just fall apart. The usual suspects are the one
up front on drivers side, dealer only part, the cross over hose, and the
hoses on the back by fire wall. There are some small hoses that go to
charcoal canister in passenger fender that I had to replace as well.

Subject: [V8] Low RPM Stalling/Fowling Plugs

Well the Grinch of Cold has gotten to my V8q.

Can someone point out some obvious things I may have missed.

Symptons: Car starts, but won't hold idle/stay running under WOT range
rpm's. I can hear backfires/misfires under the hood
when giving it the gas, and unless I hit the gas and rev up to 4k rpms,
she
dies. And I haven't even left the garage yet.

No codes. FPR replaced over a year ago. O2 replaced couple of years ago.

Now it's stitting in a place with a lift under her (My pals Toyota/Lexus

shop), so I can get to the hard places. Plugs were fowled badly. Put a
new
set of Autolite 103's in and she ran and idled fine for days.

Took her out made a hard 40 mile r/t run, put her back in the garage,
went
to fire her up last night and got all the above symptons.

Is it the RPM/Speed/Ref sensor twins? Faulty FPR? Restricted air flow?
or
just the Grinch?
Any idea is worthy of checking out.

May the holiday's be good to all.

Torrence Thomas
