[V8] PRND321 Display problem - update

OK, I think I've narrowed it down to a grounding problem in the shift
display. As the display would give erroneous / blank readings this morning,
I switched on the manual drive mode switch, and while it flickered somewhat,
the shift display would read normally. My guess is that the flickering in
the "M" now was a reverse-grounding of sorts. Will tackle that job tonight.
BTW, this was the first unmolested instrument cluster I've encountered on a
V8. It still had the white opaque tie wraps to hold the wiring for the
connectors on. So it appears the relatively low mileage is correct.
Spent a good deal of Xmas Day and yesterday removing the old painted-on
double pinstriping :-(
Lots of work, but the result was certainly worth the effort. God I hate
@#$%! painted-on pinstripes...
There, I feel better now :-)
