I don't know, Justin. If you look at what companies like Kleeman are doing
with Mercedes using Autorotor superchargers and laminova intercoolers, I'm
convinced they are the way to go. Last I saw, Kleeman was getting over
550HP at the wheels of a 5 liter mercedes without any internal modifications
to the engine--not even to reduce compression. I'll bet a 4.2 Audi engine
would be good for at least 450 at the wheels with a similar set up. I've
tried to convince Keith to pursue that route, alas, his plate is full. :-(
With how many cars and SUVs are using Audi 4.2 engines are around right now,
it has to be getting close to a workable option to design a set up,
unfortunately, I have neither the skills, nor the time to pursue it. I hope
someone else does, though.
