My financee works for an insurance agency. As she says,
the insurance companies never lose money. The head of
her agency (of about 40 people) spends January in Key
West. Look at any large city -- the big buildings have the
names of insurance companies on them.
I used to sell software; a prospect could put off buying product.
But insurance -- that same company is *not* going to tell their
employees that they are putting off health insurance benefits
until next year. For the most part, they have to buy insurance.
